Chattanooga, TN (UTC/The Loop) -  Election season brings out debates, yard signs, and also Lupton Library’s Campaign and Political Memorabilia collection for the first time in four years.

Complete with bumper stickers and pins from both presidential campaign winners and losers, this collection allows students and the public  to get up close and personal with some items dating back to the late 1880s.

More recent presidents and presidential hopefuls are highlighted as well.

Some non campaign items include signed presidential letters, strategy books, photographs  and old fashioned voting “tickets”.

Head of Special Collections at Lupton Library Steve Cox said many pieces of the collection were donated by a former UTC professor.

In the spirit of election season, visit this free exhibit at  UTC’s Lupton Library between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the first and second floors of the building.
