Two freshman UTC football players’ court cases were postponed until Nov. 7.

Running back Isaiah Cobb and linebacker Nyvin Nelson, both 18, were arrested after being stopped for speeding on Veterans Memorial Bridge Sunday night.

Cobb is charged with speeding, driving under the influence, possessing alcohol as a minor,  and possessing a handgun while under the influence, while Nelson faces similar charges of possessing alcohol as a minor and driving under the influence by consent.

Both players have been suspended indefinitely from the team.
