1. Moon River Festival
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve definitely heard of this Memphis-born music festival that will bring acts to Chattanooga like Drew Holcomb, Judah & the Lion, the Avett Brothers, The Head & the Heart, and more. If you can’t make it to the sold out show, I’d strongly advise avoiding the impending North Shore traffic this weekend.
2. Aziz Ansari at The Tivoli
Ansari’s new show, Working Out New Material, is coming to Chattanooga. Although it was only announced a week ago. As one of my favorite comedians, I couldn’t be more excited to catch his show and see the man behind Parks and Recreation’s Tom Haverford in person.
3. Chattanooga Market
This is a Chattanooga staple. Head over to the First Tennessee Pavilion on Sunday afternoon to catch tons of local vendors, food trucks, and live music.
4. Le Petite Marché
Hosted by West Village of Chattanooga, this new market will be open every Saturday morning until the end of December. Grab brunch on Chestnut Street and check out Chattanooga’s newest and boujee-ist outdoor market.
5. 10th Annual Doggy Paddle Pool Party
Who doesn’t love dogs? Even if you don’t have a pup of your own, this event is a can’t miss. This event is hosted annually by the Warner Park pool past campus. Admission for dogs begins at $15 and humans are free. What’s more? All money raised will benefit the McKamey Animal Center.
