Hundreds swarmed to the Chattanooga Convention Center this Saturday for the city’s annual Ho Ho Expo.
The Ho Ho Expo, sponsored by Greater Chattanooga Orthodontics and The Mark White Team, took place on November 23rd and 24th. The Expo featured over one hundred vendors who set up camp to sell various items.
A wide variety of items were for sale at the event, including candles, clothes, jewelry, roof shingles, in ground dog fences, soap, bakery items, and even bathtubs.
However, anyone who was short on cash could still come and have fun at the Expo. The Expo had free cookies and cider, a place to rest your feet and watch movies, and tons of samples.
Kids could easily have a ball at the Ho Ho Expo as well. There was a Kid Zone that included Christmas themed crafts, movies, and snacks.
There were also some famous persons in attendance: namely, Santa Clause. The Ho Ho Expo offered free pictures with Santa for anyone who was desired to take part. Not only was Santa in attendance, but several Disney Princess were there to take pictures with kids.
Disney Princesses including Tiana, Rapunzel, Moana, Anna, and Elsa even performed a “Princess Sing-Along” where kids were invited to join the characters on stage to sing and dance.
After listening to the princesses, a ballerina was invited on stage to perform a dance to the Sugar Plum Princess.
“My favorite booth was the Dutch Maid Bakery. They had the best cinnamon rolls!” said UTC student Kate Neal, “I also loved seeing all the kids get so excited about seeing Santa and the Princesses. Tiana had some serious vocals.”
It was clear that abundant holiday spirit had settled in at the Ho Ho Expo through the plethora of activities and opportunities available to attendees.
