UTC offers a new benefit on selected meal plans called MocsSwap.
The plan allows students to replace a meal swipe at Crossroads for a meal at participating retail locations for a specific combo purchase.
”The goal was to add variety to the meal plan specifically for students who primarily eat at Crossroads,” Xaimara Torres Jimenez, marketing manager with UTC dining, said.
Students can use their MocsSwap points once per day. Depending on a student’s meal plan, they receive a specific amount of MocsSwap meals per semester.
Students with seven day all-access meal plans receive 50 swipes per semester, five day all-access plans receive 25, block 100 plans receive 15, and block 75 plans receive eight.
A majority of UTC’s food and drink services participate in MocsSwap dining, including Dippers, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Steak n’ Shake, Panda Express, Moe’s, Chick-fil-a, Subway, Starbucks, and Mckenzie Arena.
For the specific combos, gluten-sensitive and vegetarian options are also available, and all MocsSwap food combos include a 22 ounce fountain drink.
